Founded in 1959, ABAF is the Belgian Society of Financial Analysts. At present about 400 professionals are members of the Society, most of them being analysts and investment managers.
ABAF offers a wide range of services with its core competencies:
- International exams like the CEFA (Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst) and the CIIA (Certified International Investment Analyst) designations.
- Conferences and Forums
- Commissions and working groups dealing with current issues of the capital market
ABAF participates actively with the authorities in on-going discussions aimed at enhancing the quality of financial information and the associated role of financial analysts.
It represents the profession at national, European and international regulatory and standards authorities.
