Declaration of the objective of the Association
A primary statutory objective of Croatian Association of Financial Analysts is:
- the development of science and practice in the field of the investment analysis, primarily in the fundamental investment analysis and portfolio management
According to the primary objective, HUFA attempts to provide several specific objectives:
- improvement of professional standards of the investment analysis and portfolio management;
- influence on the improvement and harmonisation of the accounting policies of companies and practical use of financial reporting;
- introduction of generally adopted programs of education and training of financial analysts, standards of conduction of financial analysis and professional ethics of financial analysts;
- promotion of recognition of specific benefits that the individual members of the Association have in the optimal allocation of the capital through a constructive, critical and objective approach;
- the promotion of these goals and participation in the efforts of their coordination with similar organisations within the country and abroad.
HUFA will strive to achieve above specified objectives in the close cooperation with The European Federations of Financial Societies. It is through this cooperation that HUFA attempts to rise and to spread, quantitatively and qualitatively, its membership community. HUFA plans to achieve this through promotion of the Profession of Certified International Investment Analysts, organising education process for CIIA Examination and providing technical support for CIIA Examination.
