The Dutch Analysts Association |
The Dutch Analysts Association (Beroepsvereniging van Beleggingsdeskundigen - VBA) was founded in 1961 and is part of the EFFAS. The VBA has approximately 1,000 active members (analysts and fund managers), employed by banks, brokers and institutional investors in the Netherlands and abroad.
As a representative of its members the VBA takes part in various financial committees en is in frequent contact with political parties, government bodies and supervisors in the Netherlands.
Within the VBA, various committees are actively researching various issues, related to the financial sector and in an international context.
For some twenty years now, the VBA has had its own educational program, at present a post doctorate program, given at the VU university in Amsterdam. Completion of this program (accredited by EFFAS) is a must for investment professionals in the Netherlands.
